Join us this fall for one of two exciting programs designed to nurture and elevate the musical theatre skills of youth, led by our enthusiastic Today4U team in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment.

Centre Stage (ages 7+) is for young performers eager to develop their skills, no audition required. Participants dive into choreographed musical theatre numbers, learn harmony and vocal technique, and build the confidence and self-expression to truly shine.

Spotlight (ages 13+) is our audition-based intensive for more experienced performers. With personalized guidance and a focus on collaboration, participants are challenged to grow as artists and bring it all together in a final showcase performance.

 

Whatever the program, the result is the same: new skills, new friendships, and the unforgettable magic of taking a bow under the lights.

Centre Stage

A Musical Theatre Performance Program for ages 7+

Centre Stage is designed for individuals who want to develop their performance skills. Participants will engage in choreographed musical theatre numbers, learn harmony and vocal techniques, and build self-confidence and expression — all without the need for an audition.

  • Age Group: 7+

  • Program Details: Our Centre Stage program welcomes individuals aged 7-20 interested in developing their performance skills. Participants will engage in choreographed group musical theatre numbers, learn harmony and vocal techniques, and focus on building self-confidence and expression. No audition is required.

  • Schedule: Monday evenings from 5:30pm - 7:30pm, starting Monday, September 7th, 2026.

  • Showcase Performance: Thursday, December 17th, 2026 at Guelph Little Theatre.

  • Enrolment Fee: $275 (includes all taxes and fees)

Spotlight

A Musical Theatre Intensive Program for ages 13+

Spotlight is an audition-based, intensive musical theatre course for individuals aged 13 and above, providing personalized guidance, collaboration, and a showcase performance at the end of term. 

  • Age Group: 13+

  • Program Details: Our Spotlight program is an audition-based program with a limited number of spots. In this intensive course, individuals will learn musical theatre solos, monologues, scenes, duets, and trios. Participants will work closely with the Today4U team, receiving personalized guidance to refine their performance skills while collaborating with like-minded peers in an ensemble setting.

  • Schedule: Monday evenings from 6:45pm - 9:30pm, starting Monday, September 7, 2026.

  • Showcase Performance: Thursday, December 17, 2026 at Guelph Little Theatre.

  • Enrolment Fee: $345 (includes all taxes and fees)

  • Video Audition Requirements:

    • A one-minute introductory statement outlining what material and skills you personally want to work on throughout the term.

    • A musical theatre solo or monologue performance, under two minutes, that demonstrates your vocal strengths, musicality, and characterization.

    • Auditions must be submitted to today4uproductions@gmail.com by Friday, August 14, 2026. Those that are selected for the program will be notified by Friday, August 21, 2026.

    • Those not selected for the Spotlight program are guaranteed a spot in our Centre Stage program and will be refunded any difference in program fees.
